When to Call on
Even voor Mama's?
Life abroad as a parent doesn't come with a manual. Sometimes there’s an obvious reason why everything feels overwhelming, and sometimes, it’s simply the weight of doing it all in a new country, far from the familiar.
At Even voor Mama’s, we’re here for all mothers and primary caregivers who need a moment to breathe, especially those navigating parenthood while also adjusting to life in the Netherlands. Whether you're balancing a busy job, settling into a new culture, managing without your usual support network, or simply feeling stretched by the everyday, you are not alone. It’s often the unseen, unspoken pressures that have the biggest impact on the whole family. Below are just a few examples of moments when our support can make a real difference.
And if your situation isn’t listed? Please reach out anyway. Because parenting in a new country is already a major achievement, you don’t have to explain anything more than that.
Our all-in-one service
At Even voor Mama’s, we offer a complete, all-in-one package that includes all four of our support pillars. But you decide what you need in the moment. Not one day is ever the same and nothing is mandatory. Together, we tailor each visit to what helps you and your family most.

The Benefits of Even voor Mama’s
08:00 – The helper arrives, briefly discusses the day with the mother, and begins the morning routine.

09:15 – On the way back, the helper picks up groceries from the agreed-upon list — convenient and efficient.
09:45 – Back home, the helper gets to work on the children’s wardrobes: sorting by size, storing seasonal clothes, setting aside damaged items, and bringing order to the chaos.ient.

12:45 – The mother starts her work behind the laptop. The helper takes over full care of the baby for a while: playing, going for a walk, or supporting a nap if needed.
14:30 – While the baby plays or sleeps, the helper takes care of small household tasks — loading the dishwasher, clearing the kitchen counter, sorting some toys.
